Tianqi Lithium to build 30,000-tpy lithium hydroxide project amid global energy transition

On 12 May, 2023, lithium producer Tianqi Lithium plans toestablish a battery-grade lithium hydroxide project with capacity of 30,000tonnes per year in Zhangjiagang, Suzhou in China’s Jiangsu province.

Tianqi Lithium said that total investment for the project isabout CNY3.0 billion (USD431 million).
