Huawei and Hubei research institutions co-develop the first AI-assisted pesticide creation machine

On 21 June, 2024, Hubei Dailyreported that at the "Green Pesticide Creation and Artificial IntelligenceInnovation Forum" held in Wuhan. The Wuhan Artificial IntelligenceComputing Center, the State Key Laboratory of GreenPesticides at Central China Normal University, and Huawei Technologies Co.,Ltd. jointly developed the world's first AI-assisted pesticide creation machine— the pesticide molecule design ShenNong Machine (农药分子设计神农一体机).

Central China Normal Universitystated that the integrated platform developed significantly enhances pesticideresearch and development efficiency, improves the accuracy of molecular design,and reduces research and development costs. Previously, the average R&Dprocess took 11.3 years, but now it takes only 1 to 3 years.
