Fuhua Tongda and Evonik entered into hydrogen peroxide production and sales license agreement

Fuhua Tongda Chemical Inc (FuhuaTongda) and Evonik entered into license agreement on 15 Nov., 2023. Pursuant tothe agreement, Fuhua Tongda will use technology authorized by Evonik to buildthe 200,000t/a industrial-grade hydrogen peroxide production facility to beused for special such application as solar panels and aseptic packaging of foodand beverages.

In addition, the two parties intendedto conduct a market assessment on the sales of special-grade hydrogen peroxideto meet the growing demand for hydrogen peroxide-related applications in theChinese market.

Lauren Kjeldsen, head of Evonik’s IntelligentMaterials Business Division, said that this cooperation is made based onEvonik’s expertise in peroxides and Fuhua’s experience in the local market toprovide peroxide-related product solutions to meet the growing market demand.
