According to the ICAMA, a total of 4,512 pesticide registrations were approved in China in 2018. All were formal registrations.
According to rules in the Pesticide Management Regulations, the Ministry of Agriculture of China (MOA) established the Ninth National Pesticide Registration Approval Committee, which covers several professional approval groups including chemical products, efficacy, residues, toxicology, environmental influence, production and circulation. Pesticide categories like insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, plant growth regulators, rodenticides and hygienic insecticides are all included.
According to the Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture (ICAMA), altogether 12 technical was approved for registration in October 2014, including 5 herbicides, 5 fungicides and 2 insecticides.
According to the list of pesticide products to be approved by the Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture of China (ICAMA), the 97.5% pyraclostrobin technical by Shijiazhuang Shentai Chemical Co., Ltd. is likely to be approved recently, if nothing unusual happens, which will make the producer the first domestic registrant of pyraclostrobin technical.
According to the Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture of China (ICAMA), Sipcam newly registered two formulations in China in August 2014, namely 75% azoxystrobin+tebuconazole WG and 20% azoxystrobin+flutolanil WG.
On 3 June, 2014, the registration of 95% mesosulfuron-methyl technical by Hebei Shijiazhuang Xingbai Bio-engineering Co., Ltd. was approved. The producer becomes the first domestic registrant of this product (excluding those of repackaging ones, similarly hereinafter).
