Bayer launches 4 new pesticides onto China

On 22 November 2018, Bayer CropScience launched 4 new products, namely Wenteng® (fungicide), Jixian® (insecticide), Rutian® (seed coating for rice fungi killing), and Qimeixin® (fungi killing purpose seed coating).

 

Bayer Crop Science opens official store on Taobao

On 1 August 2018, Bayer Crop Science opened the official corporate store on Taobao.com. Prior to this, Bayer has already run 2 flagship stores on this platform, respectively for the sales of pharmaceuticals and sanitary horticultural pesticides. This new store was named as Bayer Crop Science Official Corporate Store, specifically for the sales of agricultural pesticides.

 

Bayer’s channel project of plant protection UAV was officially launched

According to the official news from Bayer China, its channel support project of plant protection UAV was officially launched in Liyang City, Jiangsu Province in September, 2017. Nearly 200 dealers attended the kick-off meeting, witnessing this milestone moment of Bayer in the field of plant protection UAV.

 

Bayer unites NATESC to promote comprehensive solution ‘More Rice’

Bayer, together with the National Agro-Tech Extension and Service Center (NATESC), held the project summary meeting for ‘Bayer More Rice’ in 2016, on which comprehensive solutions for crop protection and data of rice experimental fields were released. According to the data, the solutions of the company can effectively control the harm by diseases, pests and weeds for rice, promote the healthy growth of rice, guarantee agricultural field ecology, improve farmers’ profits and push forward the goal of Application Reduction and Efficiency Improvement of Pesticides by the Ministry of Agriculture of China (MOA).

 

Bayer’s fluoxastrobin technical to be registered in China

On 27 May, 2016, the Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture of China (ICAMA) published a notice about the fifth batch of pesticides planned to be approved, which includes the temporary registration of 94% fluoxastrobin technical by Bayer CropScience AG (Bayer). It will be the first registration of the active ingredient in China.

 

Bayer promotes seed treatment agent in China’s top corn seed production region–Zhangye City, Gansu

On 19 May, 2016, Bayer held its “Much More Corn” conference for demonstration of crop protection solutions in <st1:ST1:PLACE w:st="on"><st1:ST1:CITY w:st="on">Zhangye City, <st1:ST1:STATE w:st="on">Gansu Province. Previously, the company has drawn great attention when it held a conference for seed dressing technologies in Zhangye in 2015. This year, the company again shared its knowledge and experience in seed treatment agent and related comprehensive solutions with more seed producing and processing companies.

 

Bayer obtains first registrations of thiencarbazone-methyl TC and SC in China

On 25 Feb., 2016, Bayer CropScience obtained the registrations of 98% thiencarbazone-methyl TC and 26.7% thiencarbazone-methyl + isoxaflutole SC from the Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture (ICAMA). Both products are first registered in China.

 

Sipcam SPA signed cooperation agreement on Vestire® with Bayer

On 8 Jan., 2016 the Sipcam SPA (Wuxi) Co., Ltd. (Sipcam SPA) signed a cooperation agreement with Bayer CropScience (China) Co., Ltd. (Bayer CropScience) on the exclusive distribution of Vestire® (active ingredient: 720g/L chlorothalonil SC) in Beijing. According to the agreement, Bayer CropScience has obtained the dealership of Sipcam SPA’s products in China.

 

Bayer releases new product Kenshou® in Heilongjiang Province

On 14 Dec., 2015, the Bayer CropScience held a conference for the release of its new product Kenshou® in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province. More than 300 participants including representatives of Heilongjiang Plant Protection Station, Jilin Plant Protection Station and Heilongjiang Land Reclamation Bureau and pesticide dealers in the Northeast China were invited to the conference.

 

Bayer: triafamone and penflufen approved for first registration in China

On 17 March, 2015, the Germany-based Bayer CropScience obtained the temporary registration of triafamone, including 93.6% TC and 19% SC. This is the first triafamone registration in China. On 18 March 2015, Bayer CropScience obtained the temporary registrations of both 95% penflufen TC and 22% penflufen ZX. This is also the first registration of penflufen in China.
