As reported on 5 Dec., 2015, BASF has recently got two temporary registrations of its fungicide metrafenone (98% TC and 42% SC) from the Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture (ICAMA), which will expire on 5 Dec. of 2016. The 42% metrafenone SC is registered to combat powdery mildew of pea. These are the first registrations of metrafenone TC and formulations in China.

(Huaheng Biotechnology) recently, it signed an intention book with BASF on 10 Nov., 2014 that it plans to newly build new production devices of L-alanine by fermentation method in Hefei, Anhui Province, through join stock or other means. It will try to accomplish the agreement by Q2 2015.
