On 26 June 2018, Zhejiang Yongtai Technology Co., Ltd. (Yongtai Tech) signed an Equity Transfer Agreement with Ningbo Yongcheng Suhe Investment Partnership (Limited Partnership). It intended to acquire 85% of shares (= USD9.8 million) in Jiangsu Subin Agrochemical Co., Ltd. (Jiangsu Subin) using its own funding of USD26.2 million.
On 7-8 August, 2018, the Sub-council of Chemical Industry of CCPIT will hold the 11th Brazil Agrochem Show in São Paulo, Brazil. Pesticide registration administration officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply (MAPA) and the Brazilian Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA) will be invited to the show, and the attendees will gather together for interpreting and discussing the latest pesticide registration policies in both China and Brazil. At the same time, in order to establish a regional agrochemical trading communication platform, the council will also send invitations to pesticide purchasers from American countries to join the show for trade communication.
From 29-30 June 2018, the Seminar on Pesticide Industry Chain and Purchase Management in China was held by China Crop Protection Industry Association (CCPIA) in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province. On 25 June, 2018, the National Agro-Tech Extension and Sevice Center (NATESC) published the latest forecast on rice insect pests and diseases in China. The report said that as of the mid-June, rice insect pests and diseases have been found in 13 million ha (197 million mu) of paddy fields this year, a 5% increase over the same period last year; in the next period, as the weather conditions are generally favorable to the occurrence of rice pests and diseases in the rice planting areas of the Yangtze River Region, the NATESC reminded that local plant protection departments should keep close track of the real-time occurrence status, making in-time publishment as well as guidance to farmers on prevention and control.

On 8 June, 2018, the National Agro-Tech Extension and Service Center (NATESC) published its forecast on diseases and pests, according to which first-generation corn borers will strike most regions on a medium scale, with the total occurrence area of 8.7 million ha. It is predicted that from the middle of June to the end of July, main corn production regions will gradually enter into the peak harming phase of the first generation of larva.
